What is Hypnobirthing?
What is Hypnosis?
Clucking like a chicken, performing a dance or travelling to another age, are all examples of stage hypnosis. A form of entertainment hypnosis which relies on individual susceptibility, crowd participation and encouragement.

When I ask my parents-to-be what they think hypnosis is, many believe that hypnobirthing is going to turn them into zombie baby birthers.

Hypnosis has been used for its anaesthetic and pain relieving properties during surgical and dental procedures for over 70 years. The British Medical Journal (1955) also accepts hypnosis as an effective method of relieving discomfort in childbirth.

No tricks, no persuasive tactics, just practice and an overriding sense of positivity and strength in the human body.
After all, the mind is human's most powerful possession.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy uses words to enable people to release fear and replace negativity.

"Words are the most powerful drug known to man" - Kipling (1923)

Media, daily life and experiences of others bombard our senses every day. Few of these experiences are positive. By reframing words and perceptions, hypnotherapy helps people let go of the negative ideas they have acquired in life.

Responses to hypnotherapy are individual, some fall asleep and claim to have not heard a thing, others focus only on their weekly shopping list. What is consistent though, is that the unconscious mind is always listening.

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift" - Einstein.
What is Hypnobirthing?
Hypnobirthing allows women to work with their body and mind, confidently, calmly and free from doubt.
The unconscious mind is the greatest untapped source, my aim is to equip you with the tools to empower your body and steer you away from your conscious concerns.

It is logical, simple and practical.
